Todd J. Cooperman M.D.

Todd J. Cooperman M.D. is a board certified physiatrist ( a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation). He is a graduate of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York and The State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Todd Cooperman M.D. completed his internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine and New York Medical College, and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute.

Todd Cooperman M.D. is the Medical Director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls. He also serves as the Section Chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Monmouth Medical Center and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Drexel University College of Medicine.

Todd Cooperman's M.D. practice consists of the evaluation and treatment of patients with a variety of diagnoses, including stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, amputations, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, arthritis, joint replacement, deconditioning, frequent falls, as well as balance/gait disorders.

Todd Cooperman M.D. cares for inpatients at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls, and he is on staff at several local community hospitals where he serves as a Rehabilitation Medicine consultant. He also sees outpatients in his office, which is located in HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls.

Padma Adusumilli M.D.

Padma Adusumilli M.D. is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her specialty training at St.Vincent’s Hospital in New York City and received board certification in 1999. Padma Adusumilli M.D. has participated in various clinical trials during her training.

Padma Adusumilli M.D. served as Medical Director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls from its opening in 2002 through 2005 and currently maintains an active role on the Administrative Team. Special interests include all neurological diagnoses, amputation, musculo-skeletal conditions and pediatric rehabilitation. She also has received training in electromyography.

In addition to her position at HealthSouth, Padma Adusumilli M.D. also holds staff privileges at Monmouth Medical Center and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Toms River.

Edgardo Baerga, M.D., FAAPMR

Edgardo Baerga M.D. is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist with an office in Tinton Falls, NJ. He is currently the Medical Staff President at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls and the CEO and Medical Co-Director of Mid Atlantic Rehabilitation Consultants, LLC. In addition to his board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Edgardo Baerga M.D. is also a Medical Acupuncturist and Electromyographer.

Edgardo Baerga M.D. completed his specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson/JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute and his medical acupuncture training in New York Medical College School of Medicine in Valhalla, NY. He joined the medical staff at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls in 2002 and maintains an active inpatient, outpatient, and consultation practice in Monmouth County. He also holds credentials at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Specialty Hospital at Monmouth (Long Term Acute Care Unit) and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River.

Edgardo Baerga M.D. is co-author of the Stroke Rehabilitation, Traumatic Brain Injury, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Spasticity and Movement Disorders chapters in the textbook Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review (Demos Medical Publishing, 2004).

Edgardo Baerga M.D. has special interests in stroke rehabilitation, brain injury, geriatric rehabilitation, spasticity management (including Botox injections), Parkinson and Multiple sclerosis rehabilitation, EMG/electrodiagnosis, sports medicine & musculoskeletal injuries and alternative medicine, including acupuncture.

Edgardo Baerga M.D., his wife Priscila and daughter, Carolina Sofia, reside in Monmouth County, New Jersey. He has served in the Health and Wellness Ministry at Christ United Methodist Church, Spanish Ministry, in Lakewood, NJ were he also serves as the Musical Director of the Praise and Worship Team.
